Steven Flyer

Steven Flyer is a Partner at AUA Private Equity Partners, LLC and is a non-voting member of AUA Equity’s Investment Committee. Prior to establishing AUA Private Equity, Mr. Flyer was an investment professional and a member of the investment committee for an international family office. Previously, Mr. Flyer was a Managing Director of Trimaran Capital Partners, L.L.C., where he was responsible for sourcing, structuring, negotiating and managing private equity investments, as well as being responsible for the firm’s investor relations and overall administration and operations. Before joining Trimaran Capital Partners, Mr. Flyer was an Executive Director in the Leveraged Finance Group of CIBC World Markets Corp. responsible for overseeing CIBC’s $400 million Argosy Merchant Fund.

Mr. Flyer has previously served on the board of directors of El Pollo Loco, Consolidated Advisers, Indulge Desserts Holdings, Associated Foods Holdings, Raymundo’s Food Group, Epic Baking Company and Transportation Technologies Industries. Mr. Flyer received his B.A. from Columbia University/Columbia College and his J.D. from Cornell Law School where he is a member of the Executive Committee of the Alumni Association. Mr. Flyer is also a member of the Cornell University Council, and he is an adjunct professor at Cornell Law School where he teaches courses on private equity transactions and mergers & acquisitions.
