David Benyaminy

David Benyaminy is a Partner of AUA Private Equity Partners, LLC and is a member of AUA Equity’s Investment Committee. Prior to establishing AUA Equity (and its predecessor firm), Mr. Benyaminy was an investment professional at an international family office.

Previously, Mr. Benyaminy was an Executive Director of Trimaran Capital Partners, L.L.C, where he was responsible for sourcing private equity investment opportunities, structuring acquisitions, performing business and industry due diligence, negotiating acquisition and financing documents and monitoring portfolio companies.

Before joining Trimaran Capital Partners, Mr. Benyaminy was a Director in the Leveraged Finance Group of CIBC World Markets Corp. Prior to joining CIBC World Markets Corp., Mr. Benyaminy worked at Chase Manhattan Corp, where he completed its comprehensive credit training program.

Mr. Benyaminy currently serves on the board of directors of Weaver Popcorn Manufacturing, Western Smokehouse Partners, Westminster Pet Products, and bistroMD. Mr. Benyaminy previously served on the board of directors of TruFood Mfg., Water Lilies Foods, Associated Foods Holdings, VStar Entertainment Group, El Pollo Loco, Urban Brands and Brite Media Group.

Mr. Benyaminy received his B.A. and M.B.A. from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.
